In Session One you will learn the history of yoga, basic introduction to teaching Pranayama (yoga breathing) and Bandhas, the foundation of Yoga Asana (poses) and how to sequence them for a beginning yoga class, as well as Bodhi Yoga’s 3-Aspects of approaching traditional yoga poses.

Session One:  Online Yoga Teacher Training Asana Classes 1-8 and Bodhi YTT Manual Follow-up

Each asana class below includes up to five other complimentary poses for combining yoga asanas together, teaching students how to move into more advanced variations of the pose using Bodhi Yoga’s Natural Progression™ teaching technique, and begin understanding more intelligent transitions for moving into and out of each asana.  You’ll love learning hands-on adjusting and discover how to build a variety of classes within each specific yoga pose class focus:

ASANA – Class 1: Approach to Seated and Kneeling Poses
Introduction to the benefits, purpose and sequencing of seated yoga poses.

ASANA – Class 2: SUKASANA
Teaching approach, hands-on adjusting, sequencing and complimentary transitions into and out of the Easy Pose.

ASANA – CLASS 3: BALASANA

Session One Follow-up

Once you have completed Session One of the online Bodhi Yoga™ teacher training streaming classes and reading, you will need to complete your Session One Follow-up and practice teaching feedback forms and place them in the back pocket of your manual, to submit with your certification packet.
