A 22 minute online yoga class sequence to help you begin back-bending. It is recommended you practice the BodhiFlow Tiers One-Four Yoga Quick Fix, prior to attempting this practice. Beginning Back Bends sequence includes: Straddle forward fold (Prasarita Padottanasna), Pyramid Pose (Parsvottanasana), Camel Back Bend (Ustrasana), Pigeon Pose (Kapotasana) and begining One-Legged-Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasna), followed by twist and final relaxation (Savasana).
Don’t let the yoga names intimidate you from trying this wonderful practice to increase your agility and vitality. As with any back-bending the key is to move gently deeper. It is easy to increase the intensity gradually, but hard to take back if you over do into too much too soon. It’s important to begin warmed up and ready for focused fun.
Excellent for Depression, Anxiety and a full spectrum of post-traumatic stress. Back-bending can bring up emotions. Be patient with yourself and review with your appropriate mental health care support.
